Tile Delivery Charges
We offer free delivery service on customer orders over £250 across Northern Ireland. Deliveries to the rest of the UK and Republic of Ireland calculated at checkout however customer orders with a greater value than £500 will be delivered free of charge. All other delivery costs will be calculated at the checkout section of the website, the charge will be based on the total weight of the order and the customer’s delivery location.
Europe & Rest of the World
We can deliver to other parts of the world but are currently unable to deliver outside Ireland and the UK with our standard delivery solution. Please contact us to discuss alternative delivery options by emailing us at email@example.com. We’d be delighted to provide you with a quote.
Delivery times are Monday through Saturday (excluding Bank Holidays) from 9:30am-7:30pm. The Company aims to have the Customers’ orders delivered within 10-14 days of receipt of payment. Each product on our site differs – if we have you tile selection in stock this could be a few days or it might take a few weeks if a special order. Quotations as to delivery time are given in good faith, but delivery is subject to availability of the Goods and raw materials and supply from the Manufacturer. Every effort will be made to effect delivery within a quoted period. Please allow for public holidays and unforeseen circumstances. A member of the Company will contact the Customer in advance to provide a date for delivery. It is advisable that the Customer is onsite to accept delivery.
Please note that we will try to deliver to the Scottish Highlands and offshore Islands without incurring additional charges as we realise other companies penalise customers for their location. All efforts will be made to find a delivery service that can fulfil your order.
Delivery of Sample Tiles
The first three samples per customer will be sent free of charge, providing they are ordered to be delivered in one package. Further samples will be charged £2.95 per sample thereafter. Samples are sized approximately 10x10cm and are supplied solely to enable the customer to judge the general appearance of the Goods.
Terms & Conditions for Tile Deliveries
Pallet deliveries of tiles will be made with large goods vehicles using tail lifts to the nearest kerbside. Our pallet couriers are unable to bring these items inside the property or move any items to the desired floor of the house due to insurance purposes. It is at the customer’s liability, and driver’s discretion, if delivery is accepted onto any part of the customer’s property. Pallets will be handled using a manual pump truck which requires a flat and smooth surface. The rigid lorries delivering pallets will be large, so you must ensure sufficient space and access is available, notably:
- Sufficient access width for a heavy goods vehicle
- Suitable surface for a heavy goods vehicle to park and unload
- No low bridges or low overhanging trees
- Ability for the vehicle to turn and manoeuvre (if a cul-de-sac)
If your access is limited it may be possible to arrange alternative delivery methods, however this must be done in advance of the goods being sent out. Please call the customer services team to discuss alternative delivery options or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Checking Your Goods
The most important thing you can do is check your goods. Make sure you have received the correct goods and are happy with the colour, shading, sizing etc. This must be done before the goods are installed. Tiles cannot be exchanged or returned once fixing has occurred. Let our customer services team know of any problems as soon as possible. It is extremely important that you indicate the damages on the delivery note when you sign for the goods. You must notify Exquisite Tiles Ltd if there are any damages or irregularities to your order within 24 hours of delivery, or it will be assumed that these issues have occurred after delivery was made. After you have notified us of the damages, replacement goods will be sent out as soon as possible.
